Who I am—why I do what I do
I am a tertiary-educated Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc) and Certified Practising Nutritionist (CPN), accredited through the Australasian Association of Registered Practising Nutritionists (AARPN). I’m on a mission to transform relationships with food by promoting a lifestyle that fosters a love for nutritious, delicious foods and supports optimal health—so you can become the happiest, healthiest version of yourself. Having faced my own health challenges, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, digestive imbalances, stress, anxiety, food intolerances, and sleep problems, I found that traditional treatments often didn’t work—or made things worse. Turning to therapies like Nutritional Medicine and Naturopathy, I discovered effective, lasting solutions that helped me heal. Fast-forward 10 years, and now as the mother of an amazing neurodiverse (ASD) child who thrives and inspires me every day, I’m driven to do better—for myself, my family, and others. My goal is to help your unique family thrive too, with compassion, understanding, and evidence-informed care.
I believe that vibrant health and happiness are within everyone’s reach, and that the power of real food is the key to unlocking it
❊
I strongly believe in educating and empowering people to take control of their health through informed decisions and holistic interventions that target the root causes. Drawing on my creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills developed in my previous career, I identify the underlying causes of complex and often long-term health issues aiming to resolve symptoms and restore health.
✺
There’s no one-size-fits-all diet. What works for me might not work for you, and finding your own balance is essential. I encourage clients to listen to their bodies and create a plan that fits their unique needs, lifestyle, and symptoms—but it takes time. My advice is simple: stop trying to fit into a box that’s not yours. Honour your body, educate yourself, and don’t deprive yourself of what you need. Self-respect and self-love are the keys, not restriction.

CONSULTATIONS
What can you expect
A consultation with Aster is typically an informative and personalised experience designed to help you improve your health through diet and lifestyle changes. Here’s what you can generally expect:
- Initial Discussion & Health History
The session will likely begin with a thorough discussion about your current health, lifestyle, and medical history. We will ask about your eating habits, any chronic conditions, medications, allergies, and specific goals you want to achieve (e.g., weight loss, managing a health condition, improving energy levels). If you have filled out the client intake form before your consult this will give us this valuable information to start considering before you even arrive. - Assessment of Current Diet & Lifestyle
We may ask you to track your typical food intake over a few days or weeks to get a sense of your eating patterns as well as your physical activity, sleep habits, stress levels, and other lifestyle factors that impact your health. - Personalised Recommendations
Based on the information you provide, we create a tailored intervention. This plan might include suggestions for improving your diet, incorporating specific nutrients, and adjusting portion sizes or meal timing. We may also recommend supplements or other dietary strategies based on your specific needs. - Testing (if needed)
Depending on your health concerns, we might suggest lab tests (like blood tests) or nutritional assessments to identify deficiencies, sensitivities, or imbalances. This helps to refine recommendations and track progress over time. - Setting Goals
We’ll work together to set specific, achievable health goals, whether that’s improving digestion, managing blood sugar levels, increasing energy, or supporting a particular medical condition. We help break these goals down into small, manageable steps. - Ongoing Support and Follow-Up
Follow-up consultations are recommended to follow progress, address challenges, and fine-tune your interventions. Providing ongoing support, including resources, meal planning tips, or additional guidance as you work toward your goals. - Education and Empowerment
A big part of the consultation will involve education, we will explain the reasons behind our recommendations and help you understand how different foods, nutrients, and habits affect your body. The goal is to empower you with the knowledge to make healthier choices long-term. - Holistic Approach
We take a holistic approach, considering factors beyond just food. We may suggest changes in lifestyle, stress management techniques, and other practices that support overall well-being.
Overall, expect a collaborative and supportive experience where your concerns are heard and your unique needs are taken into account, leading to a personalised and sustainable plan to improve your health.
